Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our MICU team at Tufts Medical Center. As a Registered Nurse in our MICU, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill patients. You will work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care to achieve optimal outcomes
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to identify expected outcomes and develop care plans
  • Utilize evidence-based knowledge and research to inform practice and improve patient care
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions
  • Participate in performance improvement activities to enhance patient safety and quality of care
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
  • Current Massachusetts Registered Nurse License
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required
  • Varies according to unit requirements and needs
