Position Overview: As a representative of ENGEO, you will be instrumental on various construction sites, ensuring the highest standards of client service. Our Field Representatives play a vital role in the construction sector by verifying adherence to project specifications and engineering guidelines. Essentially, you will serve as the primary point of contact on-site for our project engineers and managers.

In this role, you will engage in diverse and challenging projects. Your main responsibility will involve utilizing specialized equipment for moisture and compaction assessments, and effectively communicating findings to relevant stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct quality assurance and quality control observations during earthworks and site enhancements, adhering to design specifications.
  • Verify compliance with project plans and engineering recommendations.
  • Perform in-situ density testing of engineered soil and rock materials during site development using a nuclear density gauge.
  • Utilize a provided laptop to maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of testing and observations, with daily reports submitted to Construction Service Managers.
  • Collect soil and rock samples for geotechnical laboratory analysis.

Candidate Profile:

  • Willingness to cross-train in areas such as Construction SWPPP, ACI, and ICC certifications.
  • A collaborative team player who thrives in dynamic environments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional client service.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.

Essential Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent (College degree in Earth Sciences, Geology, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management is advantageous).
  • Valid Driver's License and proof of car insurance.
  • Access to a suitable vehicle for construction site visits (daily reimbursement available).
  • Clean driving record and a commitment to a drug-free workplace.

Certifications:

  • Nuclear Density Gauge certification is required (training provided if necessary).
  • ACI Field Testing Technician certification is preferred (training reimbursement available).
  • ICC Reinforced Concrete and ICC Post Tensioning certifications are bonuses (training reimbursement available).
