We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at North Kansas City Hospital. This is a 13-week contract opportunity with a 3x12 hour night shift schedule, including every 3rd weekend rotation.

Requirements
  • 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse
  • True Tele experience and cardiac experience, including titrating drips, pre or post cardiac cath patients, and experience with sheaths
  • MO RN or Compact license required
  • ACLS, BLS (AHA), NIHSS, and TNCC certifications preferred
  • Ability to float to various units
Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care in a tele cardiac setting
  • Titrate drips and manage cardiac patients
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure excellent patient outcomes
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain certifications and stay up-to-date on best practices

Please note that this is a contract opportunity, and time off will not be approved. Additionally, travelers who are still working as staff in the Saint Luke's Health System (KS/MO) will not be considered. A passing score of 80% or higher on an EKG exam is required on orientation day. CEU requirements include 8 cardiac and 8 stroke CEUs for tele placements.
