Baugher Ranch Organics is seeking a dedicated full-time Maintenance Technician for the second shift, responsible for executing both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks on all facility machinery to support manufacturing processes under the guidance of the Maintenance Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform scheduled and preventative maintenance tasks
  • Address unplanned maintenance issues promptly
  • Diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions
  • Safely operate, maintain, and monitor facility machinery
  • Ensure adherence to the food safety management protocols
  • Occasionally supervise or assist with vendor or contractor work
  • Communicate effectively with machine operators and management
  • Acquire knowledge of the general operation of all production equipment
  • Document all maintenance activities in the appropriate systems
  • Provide coverage for machine operators during breaks
  • Complete tasks with attention to detail and a collaborative attitude
  • Exhibit a strong commitment to safety and awareness
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:

Skills and Abilities:
  • Ability to follow directions from management or senior maintenance personnel
  • Understanding of basic mechanical and electrical systems and repairs
  • Proficiency in using cloud-based CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System), Microsoft Office, and Outlook
  • Capability to operate various machinery including forklifts, scissor-lifts, and boom-lifts
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend English independently
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a respectful and cooperative environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Willingness to work occasional overtime as required
Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant maintenance experience
  • Millwright certification preferred
  • Experience in food manufacturing and/or boiler operations preferred
Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods of standing and walking
  • Must be capable of climbing ladders, bending, or crawling into tight spaces
  • Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
