We are seeking a highly skilled Outpatient Pharmacist to join our team at Beacon Health System. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will play a critical role in optimizing patient care outcomes through interdisciplinary medication management.
Key Responsibilities- Medication Management: Interpret prescriptions, prepare, dispense, and monitor medications to ensure safe and effective use.
- Patient Counseling: Provide accurate and timely counseling to patients on medication use, including OTC items, and ensure compliance with OBRA regulations.
- Inventory Management: Oversee the ordering and quality of inventory to meet customer demand, minimize costs, and maximize profitability.
- Operations: Coordinate and oversee the work performed by pharmacy technicians, assist with technician duties, and maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD.
- Licensure: Valid Indiana pharmacy license or licensure eligibility.
- Experience: Retail pharmacy experience preferred, with strong background in third-party insurance plans.
