Airport Ground Handler

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Airport Ramp Agent to join our team at Unifi. As a key member of our airport operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient handling of aircraft, baggage, and cargo.

• Load, unload, and service customer aircraft, ensuring that all baggage and cargo are handled with care and attention to detail.
• Safeguard customers' baggage, air cargo, and airmail from damage, loss, or theft.
• Operate pushback equipment and maintain visual contact with Wing Walkers to ensure safe operation.
• Receive and record customer baggage, airfreight, mail, and company materials as required.
• Pick up, deliver, and transport cargo and baggage to and from aircraft, and prepare records in connection with these responsibilities.
• Operate and/or drive motorized equipment, such as belt loaders, air start units, lift trucks, push back tugs, bag carts, and deicers.
• Complete paperwork and forms connected with work assignments, and enter information into our company's information system as required.

• Must be a local resident and possess a valid In-State Driver's License.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and up to a 10-year background check.
• Must be at least 18 years of age and authorized to work in the United States.
• Must complete ramp and SIDA training to obtain airport authority identification security.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, and move items of 70 pounds or more on a regular basis, and repetitively lift weights of 40 to 50 pounds on raised surfaces.
• Ability to walk, climb, bend, kneel, crawl, and stoop on a frequent basis and for extended periods.
• Ability to work in cramped or high places, and carry heavy items up and down jet way stairs.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Preferrd Qualifications - One+ year of relevant experience.
