Job Description:
We are looking for a Quality Inspector to perform in-process quality inspections, receiving inspections, and final product inspections. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and verifying current documents, drawings, and procedures for specific processes. They will also record, distribute, and file data gathered from inspections and testing as per instructions. Additionally, the Quality Inspector will be able to use computer systems to perform daily functions and documentation, and must be capable of handling delicate materials. The position will work under direct supervision with company policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or GED, be a US Citizen or permanent resident, and be proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook. They will also have strong communication and interpersonal skills, excellent attendance and reliability, and a willingness to participate in and maintain a spirit of teamwork. The Quality Inspector will be responsible for working knowledge of inspection processes, using a microscope for extended periods of time, and being able to lift up to 25 lbs. on occasion. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- AS9100 or other ISO quality program experience
- Quality Management System background
- Ability to use computer systems to perform daily functions and documentation
- Capable of handling delicate materials
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High School Diploma or GED
- US Citizen or permanent resident
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Working knowledge of inspection processes
