Job Title: Speech Therapist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Therapist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing therapeutic services to students with communication disorders, including language, articulation, fluency, and voice/resonance. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology and a Certificate of Clinical Competency-Speech (CCC-SP) issued by the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA) or a Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited school with eligibility for a Clinical Fellowship Year.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to identify students with communication disorders
  • Provide therapeutic services to students with communication disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with communication disorders
  • Collaborate with staff to identify students with communication disorders and develop strategies to support them
  • Meet and maintain federal and state mandates as well as local policies in performance of duties

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology
  • Certificate of Clinical Competency-Speech (CCC-SP) issued by the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA) or a Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited school with eligibility for a Clinical Fellowship Year
  • Expressive and receptive sign language skills

Working Conditions:

The Speech Therapist will work in a school setting, providing services to students with communication disorders. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, and will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
