Responsibilities:- Provide comprehensive chairside assistance to dentists during general dentistry procedures, including 4-handed dentistry techniques.
- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment histories using our electronic dental record system.
- Prepare treatment rooms efficiently for each patient appointment, ensuring a clean and organized workspace.
- Take vital signs, such as blood pressure, and assist with radiographic procedures to aid in diagnosis.
- Educate patients on pre- and post-operative instructions, promoting their understanding and adherence to treatment plans.
- Demonstrate proficiency in using computer systems for office tasks and patient management.
- Possess a coronal polishing certificate or be eligible to obtain certification.
- Respond promptly and professionally to patient inquiries, requests, and concerns.
- Maintain adequate inventory levels of supplies throughout the practice, including operatories, restrooms, and breakrooms.
- Adhere to strict sterilization protocols for instruments and equipment, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment.
- Contribute to the overall cleanliness and maintenance of the practice, reporting any issues promptly.
- Collaborate effectively with both front and back office staff members to ensure seamless operations.
- Build positive relationships with patients and colleagues, fostering a welcoming and supportive atmosphere.
- Participate in outreach and marketing initiatives to promote our services within the community.
- Assist with answering phones and scheduling patient appointments.
- Communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Nitrous monitoring certification is recommended.
