Job DescriptionEpic Travel Staffing is seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Travel Nurse to join our team. As a Travel Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to Labor and Delivery patients
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patients
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and industry developments
Requirements:
- Current CA License
- 1-year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- BCLS
- ACLS
- High Risk OB experience preferred
- Bachelors degree in nursing or related field preferred
- 5 plus years of recent experience (must have occurred within the last two (2) years) in Labor and Delivery is preferred
- 1 year of high-risk labor and delivery experience within the last 2 years preferred
