Position Overview

Are you committed to enhancing the lives of individuals with developmental challenges? Luminescence Therapy is in search of a compassionate and skilled individual to fill the role of a Behavioral Support Technician.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute behavior modification strategies under the guidance of a certified Behavior Analyst.
  • Gather and analyze data regarding client behaviors and their progress towards established objectives.
  • Assist in the formulation and execution of personalized treatment strategies.
  • Deliver direct, individualized therapy to clients diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD, or other related conditions.
  • Employ reinforcement methods to facilitate skill development and behavioral improvement.
  • Work collaboratively with a diverse team to ensure uniform treatment methodologies.
  • Maintain precise and comprehensive documentation of client interactions and advancements.
Qualifications
  • Prior experience with individuals with autism or other developmental disorders is advantageous.
  • Understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and methodologies.
  • Capability to adhere to behavior intervention plans and implement strategies proficiently.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Demonstrated patience, empathy, and a sincere desire to assist others.
  • Ability to function independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
Additional Insights

Our organization fosters a collaborative environment, featuring a team of multiple certified Behavior Analysts and support staff to aid our Behavioral Support Technicians. Luminescence Therapy also partners with Speech and Occupational Therapy professionals to deliver holistic care. Active certification as a Behavioral Support Technician is required. Medicaid credentialing is a prerequisite for commencement.
