Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Janitor - Hourly to join our team at Regal Entertainment. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our auditoriums, lobbies, hallways, and restrooms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and maintain all auditoriums, including seats, floors, and concession areas.
  • Ensure all lobby and hallway areas are clean and free of debris.
  • Restock and clean restrooms, including sinks, toilets, and mirrors.
  • Organize and maintain the janitorial closet, ensuring all necessary supplies are available.
  • Operate equipment such as vacuums and compactors to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Report any facility damage or issues to management.
  • Secure and report any lost or found items to management.
  • Maintain building security by ensuring doors are secured and alarms are set and disabled as required.
  • Abide by all federal and state laws regarding breaks and meal periods.
  • Participate in safety and emergency procedures training.
Requirements
  • Must be 18 years old or older.
  • Prior janitorial experience preferred.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with management staff.
  • Strong problem-solving and reasoning skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Work Environment

The work environment is moderate, with occasional exposure to noise and physical demands.

The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.

The vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

The employee is occasionally required to lift up to 60 pounds.
