Inventory Control Specialist

Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Receiver at Gwynedd Manufacturing Inc. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate handling of incoming materials and products.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing lists for accuracy and quality.
- Document and report any discrepancies, damages, or defects to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with data entry into the inventory management system.
- Coordinate with warehouse personnel to safely unload and store incoming materials using forklifts and other equipment.
- Ensure all received items are properly labeled and stored in designated locations.
- Keep the receiving area organized, clean, and compliant with safety protocols.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline the receiving process and address any issues that arise.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Prior experience in a receiver, warehouse, or logistics role is preferred.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and basic computer skills is necessary.
- You must have strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling received products.
- The ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs) and operate forklifts safely is essential.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment are crucial.
