Working Hours: Options available from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct vital laboratory functions, including sample preparation, distribution, and upkeep.
- Implement quality assurance protocols and comply with both corporate and laboratory standards.
- Accurately maintain records and manage electronic data.
- Safely handle a variety of chemicals, solvents, and reagents, adhering to MSDS guidelines.
- Ensure a tidy workspace and follow safety and health regulations.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and handle samples weighing between 5 to 20 lbs.
- Capable of standing for prolonged periods and working with organic solvents and chemicals.
- Mandatory use of safety glasses while in the laboratory.
Work Environment:
- Flourish in a dynamic, smoke-free laboratory setting.
- Participate in hands-on tasks and foster a collaborative team culture.
Essential Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate degree in a physical science or relevant laboratory experience.
- Familiarity with quality assurance processes and general laboratory apparatus.
