Role Summary:
The Registered Nurse is responsible for ensuring high-quality patient care through the implementation of individualized nursing care plans. This role includes supervising Licensed Practical Nurses and Certified Nursing Assistants.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments for all patients upon admission.
2. Develop personalized care plans based on assessment data.
3. Identify educational needs and goals for patients and their families.
4. Document all assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and promptly.
5. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care.
6. Ensure compliance with established standards of care and organizational policies.
7. Perform physical examinations and health history assessments.
8. Provide health education, counseling, and support to patients.
9. Administer medications and manage wound care as required.
10. Supervise and direct the activities of other healthcare staff.
11. Respond effectively to emergency situations and recognize adverse patient signs.
12. Facilitate referrals and arrange specialty care as necessary.
13. Engage in research to enhance nursing practices and patient outcomes.
14. Prioritize tasks to optimize time and resources in patient care.
Compensation:
