Job Summary

Kamatics Corporation is seeking a skilled Machinist Trainee to join our team in Bloomfield, CT. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will assist in the setup, operation, and adjustment of various machines, including lathes, drill presses, and grinders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the creation of replacement and new parts for metal components and experimental apparatus or prototype equipment.
  • Work from drawings and written instructions to perform routine machining tasks.
  • Develop basic knowledge of various metals and measurements used in machining processes.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Machining Training Certificate preferred.
  • Some exposure to machining and basic knowledge of machining techniques.
