Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Family Nurse Practitioner to join our team at ProTouch Staffing. This full-time/permanent position offers a unique opportunity to provide exceptional patient care in a dynamic and supportive environment.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced Family Nurse Practitioner to take on a challenging role in primary care. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting patient assessments, diagnosing health conditions, and developing treatment plans. You will also perform physical examinations, order diagnostic tests as needed, and provide patient education on disease prevention, healthy lifestyle choices, and treatment options.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments to diagnose health conditions and develop effective treatment plans
  • Perform routine physical examinations and order diagnostic tests as required
  • Provide patients with comprehensive education on disease prevention, healthy lifestyle choices, and treatment options
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation

Requirements

  • Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited program
  • Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in primary care or family medicine
  • Proficiency in patient care, discharge planning, venipuncture, and urgent care
  • Knowledge of aesthetic laser treatment, ophthalmology, utilization review, utilization management, and workers' compensation law is a plus
