Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Examine and diagnose patients for acute injuries, infections, and illnesses
  • Counsel and educate patients about acute and chronic conditions or concerns
  • Promote patient satisfaction and provide excellent customer service
  • Formulate diagnostic and treatment plans
  • Prescribe and administer medication
  • Order lab and imaging tests to determine and manage an immediate treatment plan
  • Provide advice and follow-up, and refer appropriate care to specialists when needed
  • Enter patient information into the EHR system completely and accurately
  • Follow HIPAA guidelines and safety rules
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have experience in multiple patient care areas and be a graduate of an MD or DO degree program, completion of Residency Program, Board Certified, licensed in the state of Michigan, DEA Certification, controlled substance license, and BLS Certification. Prior clinical experience, urgent care, and/or outpatient clinic experience are preferred.

Physical Demands

The ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, frequently sit, and lift up to 25 lbs is required. Good hand-eye coordination, reach with arms & hands, and finger dexterity, including ability to grasp, and manipulate (using keyboard, office equipment) are also required. Visual acuity to use keyboard, operate office equipment, and read printed material is regularly required, as is the ability to talk and hear.
