The salary for this role is estimated to be around $250,000 per year, commensurate with experience.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Urologist to join our team and contribute to the development of innovative treatments and therapies.

The successful candidate will have a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school and board certification in Urology.

In addition to their medical expertise, they will also possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex medical issues in an understandable and compassionate manner.

The chosen candidate will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of highly skilled professionals, including nurses, oncologists, radiologists, and other specialists, to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and treat patients with a wide range of urological conditions, including prostate and kidney cancer, benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), urinary tract infections (UTIs), incontinence, erectile dysfunction, and kidney stones.
  • Perform both minimally invasive and traditional urological surgeries, including prostatectomies, cystectomies, laparoscopic procedures, and robotic-assisted surgeries.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans based on the latest evidence-based guidelines and collaborate with patients for ongoing care and follow-up appointments.
  • Lead in the application of advanced, minimally invasive techniques such as laser therapy, shockwave lithotripsy, and robotic-assisted surgery to reduce recovery times and improve patient outcomes.

The role also involves staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in urology treatments, surgical techniques, and patient care, participating in research initiatives and educational programs to continually enhance your expertise.

In terms of qualifications, we are looking for candidates with a strong background in urology, with experience in performing both traditional and minimally invasive surgeries.

A subspecialty expertise in areas such as urologic oncology, pediatric urology, female urology, or male infertility is a plus but not required.

The successful candidate will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
