Salary Range: $77,000 - $163,000 per year, depending on experience

Job Description: As an Insider Threat Analyst at RTX, you will play a critical role in supporting the analysis, monitoring, and triage of alerts stemming from potential insider threats. Your expertise will be instrumental in identifying anomalies, leveraging security operations tools, and safeguarding sensitive data. You will work closely with the cyber defense team to detect and prevent unauthorized transfers, applying open-source intelligence techniques to gather and analyze publicly available information related to insider threats.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Cybersecurity Expertise: A minimum of 5 years of experience supporting a cyber insider threat program and/or a cyber incident response team, including at least 3 years with cybersecurity tools and technologies used to detect and mitigate insider threats.
  • Security Clearance: The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
  • Strong Communication Skills: The ability to effectively communicate technical and strategic details to peers, leadership, and stakeholders with varying levels of operational expertise.
