The Registered Vascular Technologist is tasked with conducting vascular examinations on patients to aid in the diagnosis and management of vascular conditions.

This role involves performing and documenting Non-Invasive Vascular studies utilizing advanced specialized equipment.

It is essential to demonstrate respect, dignity, kindness, and empathy in every interaction with patients, families, visitors, and colleagues, regardless of their cultural backgrounds.

Requirements

Education and Credentials:

Completion of an accredited cardiovascular ultrasound program or equivalent experience as per IAC standards.

Must hold an active registry in non-invasive imaging from ARDMS or CCI. New graduates are allowed one year post-graduation to achieve registry status.

Specialized Skills:

Thorough knowledge of Vascular Hemodynamics. Proficient in the use of vascular testing instruments. Experience with Color Flow Vascular Imaging. Ability to provide preliminary assessments.
