About the Role
As a Host/Hostess at Red Lobster, your goal is to create an exceptional dining experience for our guests. You will be the first point of contact, greeting guests with a warm smile and using your knowledge of our menu to make recommendations. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will ensure that our guests are seated promptly and that their dining experience is nothing less than extraordinary.

Responsibilities
• Greet guests with friendly conversation and use a seating chart to seat them appropriately
• Monitor a waiting list and manage a floor chart with available tables
• Communicate with guests who are waiting and maintain a clean and welcoming environment
• Answer phones and fill to-go orders when needed
• Maintain menus, waiting room, and restrooms to high standards

What You Need to Succeed
• Skills to Make the Grade – Must be able to organize, plan ahead, and engage in conversation with our guests
• Job Qualifications – Must be at least 16 years of age
• Perform the Physical Demands – Remain on your feet for several hours at a time, lift up to 20 pounds, bend, kneel, stoop, and sweep frequently
