Key Responsibilities- Develop and lead a successful resident-centered activity program, including planning, coordinating, and implementing events and activities that cater to diverse resident interests and needs.
- Collaborate with other department coordinators and the executive director to ensure seamless integration of activities with overall community operations.
- Manage budgets, monitor expenses, and analyze financial statements to ensure effective resource allocation and revenue growth.
- Recruit, hire, coach, and retain a high-performing team of staff members, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Develop and maintain relationships with residents, their families, and external partners to ensure a high level of satisfaction and engagement.
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory/management experience in a senior living or related field, with a proven track record of success in staff management, budgeting, and program development.
- High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) and Mac OS X (Pages, etc.), with the ability to learn new applications.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed to meet resident and team member needs.
