Store Clerk

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Store Clerk to join our team at Holiday Companies in Stanley, ND. As a Store Clerk, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating a cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

• Provide prompt and courteous customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Operate a cash register accurately and efficiently, handling cash, checks, and other forms of payment.
• Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor, stockroom, and parking lot.
• Assist with receiving and processing vendor deliveries, and controlling merchandise and cash shortages.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Manager, including attending job-related meetings and performing tasks with minimal supervision.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in retail sales or customer service preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for long periods of time.

• Work indoors 95% of the time, with occasional exposure to extreme cold temperatures and occasional noise.
• Work with a minimum direction and periodic supervision.

• Ability to stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours.
• Ability to occasionally lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds from ground to overhead up to 30 minutes of workday.
• Ability to occasionally lift and/or carry up to 60 pounds from ground to waist level.
• Ability to push/pull with arms up to a force of 20 pounds.
• Ability to bend at waist with some twisting up to one hour of workday.
• Ability to grasp, reach and manipulate objects with hands up to all day.
