About the Role:
The Financial Planning and Analysis Lead will play a critical role in supporting the company's strategic objectives by providing financial analysis and planning expertise. This position will be responsible for analyzing and forecasting financial data, identifying trends and opportunities, and developing recommendations for senior management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, compile, verify, and analyze financial information and economic indicators to inform strategic and operational decisions.
- Analyze the financial implications of proposed investments or transactions.
- Evaluate industry, economic, financial, and market trends to forecast the organization's financial position.
- Analyze revenues, expenses, costs, prices, investments, cash flow, profits, and market trends.
- Advise executives on significant matters, exercising independent judgment and decision-making on complex issues.
Requirements:
- Transitioning Service Member eligible for DoD SkillBridge, or Military Spouse eligible for the Military Spouse Fellowship Program.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
- 5 or more years of finance and/or accounting experience, or equivalent.
- Experience advising senior leadership on financial strategies.
- Knowledge of complex accounting and financial transactions for reporting.
- Prior experience developing methods for measuring and summarizing data for complex analyses.
- Ability to lead and manage special projects requiring cross-functional partnerships.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Healthcare industry experience.
- 2 or more years of leadership experience preferred.
- Master's degree in Business Administration or CPA strongly preferred.
- Prior health insurance industry experience in Finance/Accounting.
Work Environment:
This is a remote work opportunity, with a standard Monday through Friday schedule and 40 hours of work per week.
Compensation and Benefits:
Humana offers a competitive salary range of $31,200 - $85,100 per year, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off, 401(k), and employee assistance programs.
