Personal Caregiver for Seniors

Friends of the Family Home Health Care is a reputable organization seeking part-time or pick-up caregivers to work with clients in their homes. As a caregiver, you will provide essential support services such as meal preparation, bathing, dressing, medication reminders, and light housekeeping. This role offers flexibility, allowing you to work as often or infrequently as you wish. Typical shifts commence between 8-9 am or 6-7 pm and are located in Lucas and Monroe counties.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with daily living activities, including meals, personal care, and mobility
• Provide medication reminders and assist with medication administration
• Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks
• Engage with clients to promote emotional well-being and companionship

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility to accommodate varying shift schedules
