Job Summary:

The Structural Senior Design Engineer will be responsible for:

  • Providing technical guidance and oversight to junior engineers and designers
  • Developing and reviewing structural design specifications and criteria
  • Performing complex structural analyses and calculations
  • Coordinating with other disciplines and stakeholders to ensure project deliverables meet client requirements
  • Executing work in compliance with project quality plans and procedures
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor of Science degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • At least 10 years of experience in structural design and analysis
  • Professional Engineer license
  • Working knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local codes and standards
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
Preferred Qualifications:

We are looking for candidates with:

  • Advanced knowledge of structural design software, such as STAAD and RISA3D
  • Experience with design of systems, structures, and components for nuclear facilities under ASME NQA-1
  • Demonstrated experience managing and leading large projects
