Key Responsibilities
  • Maximize sales and provide exceptional customer service to drive business growth
  • Build strong relationships with clients and maintain an updated client book to foster loyalty and repeat business
  • Drive sales through consignments, partnerships with Interior Designers, and wardrobe stylists to expand our customer base
  • Handle all point-of-sale transactions, including sales, exchanges, refunds, gift cards, and gift wrap, with accuracy and efficiency
  • Take an active role in store operations, including maintaining displays, assisting with stock transfers, and receiving new merchandise, to ensure a seamless customer experience
  • Participate in store events and promotions to engage with customers and promote our brand
  • Encourage customers to sign up for Jenni Kayne Rewards and engage with us on our social media platforms to build brand awareness
  • Communicate effectively with management and write daily business recaps to ensure transparency and accountability
  • Secure company assets through loss prevention in compliance with company policies and guidelines
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Minimum of 1+ years of experience in retail sales, with a strong track record of customer service and sales performance
  • Experience or interest in home interiors is a plus, as we strive to provide expert advice and guidance to our customers
  • Can-do attitude and commitment to providing exceptional customer service, with a focus on building strong relationships and driving business growth
  • Willingness and availability to work during peak business periods, including weekends and holidays, to meet the needs of our customers
  • Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers, management, and colleagues
  • Knowledge and experience with POS and Inventory Management systems, Microsoft Word and Excel, to ensure seamless operations and data management
  • Comfortable working in a team environment, with a focus on collaboration and mutual support
  • Must be able to lift and move heavy objects (20 pounds or more) from time to time, as required
