Job Title: Server

We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Servers at Your Company Name. As a Server, you will play a key role in creating a positive dining experience for our guests by providing attentive service, taking accurate orders, and ensuring that all their needs are met promptly and courteously.

Responsibilities:
  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables, providing menus and ensuring they feel welcomed and comfortable.
  • Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently, utilizing knowledge of the menu to make recommendations and answer any questions guests may have.
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen and bar staff to ensure prompt and accurate delivery of orders, coordinating with team members to maintain a smooth and efficient service flow.
  • Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to requests for additional items, condiments, or accommodations, ensuring a seamless dining experience.
  • Check in with guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction, address any concerns or special requests, and offer dessert or beverage options as appropriate.
  • Process payments accurately and efficiently, handling cash and credit transactions with integrity and professionalism, and providing guests with itemized receipts and appropriate change.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including setting and clearing tables, refilling water glasses, and ensuring that dining areas are tidy and inviting.
  • Collaborate with other team members, including kitchen staff, bartenders, and management, to provide exceptional service and uphold company standards of quality and hospitality.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a Server or in a similar customer service role preferred, with a strong understanding of restaurant operations and guest relations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor and the ability to interact with guests and team members in a positive and professional manner.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment, multitasking effectively and prioritizing tasks to ensure timely service.
  • Basic math skills for accurately handling cash transactions, calculating bills, and processing payments.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed, with a commitment to providing exceptional service during peak hours.
