SUMMARY:

The Corporate Accounting Field Support Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring effective training and assistance for on-site accounting personnel.

This position serves as the primary liaison for the Corporate Accounting Department, providing ongoing support to on-site accounting teams as required in a bench/support capacity.

The role involves significant travel, estimated at 75%-85%.

Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate a seamless transition and onboarding experience for associates, owners, existing management companies, and Concord Hospitality team members.
- Deliver comprehensive accounting training and perform essential tasks as required.
- Represent Concord Hospitality and its various hotel brands with professionalism at all times.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures consistently.
- Maintain a focus on upholding all Concord standards, policies, and procedures.
- Participate in weekly Accounting Department Meetings.
- Assist in compiling accounting labor and travel expenses for transition budgeting.
- Gain proficiency in operating multiple property management systems.
- Support the recruitment of new accounting leadership while assigned to a specific property, if necessary.
- Understand the Concord Internal Audit process and review relevant accounting items with hotel staff.
- Conduct on-site accounting training according to the current checklist.
- Ensure the on-site accounting training checklist is updated regularly as needed.
- Guarantee proper training and review of all Accounting COPs.
- Complete systems training, including PVNG, Document Management Systems, Profitsword, and Edenred.
- Organize intranet Property Site folders (e.g., EOM, Funds Control).
- Train accounting staff on completing daily income journals or setting up daily interfaces with PMS.
- Assist in a successful transition to the hotel's Property Controller (on-site or centralized) and act as a resource when necessary.
- Serve as the main point of contact for all on-site Controllers post-transition, as required.
- While in a bench/support role, assume the responsibilities and duties of the vacant accounting leadership position.

Required Qualifications:


Hospitality accounting experience is essential.
