Job SummaryWe are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to work as an Ophthalmic Technician Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing comprehensive testing and eye evaluations to ensure optimum vision for all Eye Clinic patients.
Key Responsibilities- Eye Care Services: Perform various testing procedures, including visual field tests, acuity testing, color vision testing, potential acuity meter testing, biometric A-scans, external and slit lamp examinations, and pachymetry testing.
- Equipment Maintenance: Conduct routine cleaning, maintenance, calibration, and minor adjustments/repairs on all clinic equipment.
- Scheduling: Perform the surgical scheduling process for all Eye Clinic patients.
- Communication: Communicate effectively and work cooperatively with others while showing respect for and an understanding of other clinical disciplines.
- Education: High School diploma or GED.
- Experience: Three years as an Ophthalmic Technician, with hospital experience within the last five years.
