We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Technologist to join our team as a Blood Bank Specialist. This is a full-time and permanent opportunity that offers a range of benefits, including a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for growth.
About the RoleThis role will be responsible for performing blood banking tests and procedures in a clinical laboratory setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical technology, with experience in blood banking and a valid ASCP/AMT license.
Key Responsibilities- Perform blood banking tests and procedures, including cross-matching and compatibility testing.
- Prepare and issue blood products for transfusion.
- Conduct quality control checks on blood products and equipment.
- College degree in Medical Technology or a related field.
- Valid ASCP/AMT license.
- FL license.
- Prior experience in blood banking.
