Orthopedic Surgical Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled Ortho Surgical Registered Nurse to join our team at Methodist Hospital Metropolitan. As a key member of our healthcare family, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to our hospital's mission of delivering high-quality, compassionate care to our patients.
Responsibilities- Deliver safe and effective nursing care to patients undergoing orthopedic surgery, utilizing critical thinking skills and scientific judgment to make informed decisions.
- Collaborate with the patient care team to achieve quality patient outcomes, promoting a positive and supportive environment for patients and families.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members, demonstrating confidence, professionalism, and empathy.
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and advancements in orthopedic nursing.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of unit-based initiatives, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Graduate of an accredited diploma, associates, or baccalaureate degree registered nursing program.
- Minimum of six (6) months of clinical experience as a licensed Registered Nurse.
- Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License.
- Current American Heart Association BLS Certification.
