Job Title: Commercial Construction Project Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Construction Project Manager to join our team at Jobot. As a key member of our construction management team, you will be responsible for overseeing government construction projects from conception to completion.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage construction projects from planning to completion, ensuring timely and budget-friendly delivery.
  • Review and understand project contracts, drawings, and specifications.
  • Prepare and submit budget estimates, progress reports, and cost tracking reports.
  • Effectively manage risks, including identifying and analyzing potential risks and developing mitigation strategies.
  • Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors, ensuring they understand their roles and responsibilities.
  • Ensure quality construction standards and proper construction techniques.
  • Develop and manage project schedules, ensuring all milestones are met.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other construction specialists.
  • Foster a culture of safety and ensure all safety protocols are adhered to.
  • Lead project meetings, providing updates to stakeholders and addressing concerns or issues.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in commercial construction project management, specifically with government projects.
  • Proven experience in project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and contract management.
  • Strong leadership skills with a history of leading successful project teams.
  • Excellent decision-making abilities and strategic planning skills.
  • Proficient in construction project management software.
  • Exceptional knowledge of construction materials, processes, and equipment.
  • Strong understanding of quality control principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Certification in Project Management (PMP) or Construction Management (CCM) is a plus.
