At Avera Sister James Care Center, we are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Team Leader to join our multidisciplinary team. As a LPN Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality of care for our residents, while fostering a culture of compassion, teamwork, and excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and assess the care provided by our team, ensuring it aligns with our policies and procedures.
  • Administer medications and treatments as directed, promoting a safe and healthy environment for our residents.
  • Foster positive employee relations, supporting department goals and objectives.
  • Provide exceptional care and service to patients, residents, guests, and fellow employees.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing.
  • Current nursing licensure/permit to practice nursing in the state of South Dakota.
  • Must complete IV/Venipuncture of LPN Expanded Role Program, if graduated before 1990.
  • Maintains current CPR certification.
