Job Title: Flat Rigger

We are seeking a skilled Flat Rigger to join our team at Quanex. As a Flat Rigger, you will play a crucial role in our production process, working collaboratively with team members to cut and assemble window screen frames to precise specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work cooperatively with team members to meet production targets
  • Operate computer-driven measuring devices to ensure accurate frame assembly
  • Follow safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents
  • Inspect frames for defects and errors
  • Apply labels to frames upon completion
  • Sequence frames into racks for next steps
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 6 months of production or assembly experience
  • Manual dexterity skills
  • Ability to use hand tools, including tape measure, air drill, and pneumatics
  • Ability to follow written and verbal directions
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds
