Job Summary

This role assists the Store Manager and Assistant Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Family store. The ideal candidate will support staff training, implement sales strategies, and maintain a safe and clean store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supports staff training and supervision as assigned.
  • Assists in implementing strategies to meet production and sales goals.
  • Maintains store appearance and safety, adhering to OSHA and Salvation Army policies.
  • Develops and implements customer development and retention plans.
  • Communicates with the Store Manager regarding store operations, incidents, and ideas.
  • Works within budgeted parameters to ensure income and expenses are managed effectively.
  • Supports a flexible schedule to work early shifts, late shifts, and weekends to observe and provide training to store employees.
  • Protects store resources by implementing product control procedures to prevent shrinkage.
  • Supports the mission statement of The Salvation Army.
Requirements

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. A flexible schedule and willingness to adapt to changing priorities are essential.
