This role assists the Store Manager and Assistant Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Family store. The ideal candidate will support staff training, implement sales strategies, and maintain a safe and clean store environment.
Key Responsibilities- Supports staff training and supervision as assigned.
- Assists in implementing strategies to meet production and sales goals.
- Maintains store appearance and safety, adhering to OSHA and Salvation Army policies.
- Develops and implements customer development and retention plans.
- Communicates with the Store Manager regarding store operations, incidents, and ideas.
- Works within budgeted parameters to ensure income and expenses are managed effectively.
- Supports a flexible schedule to work early shifts, late shifts, and weekends to observe and provide training to store employees.
- Protects store resources by implementing product control procedures to prevent shrinkage.
- Supports the mission statement of The Salvation Army.
The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. A flexible schedule and willingness to adapt to changing priorities are essential.
