Job Title: Security EMT

At Eagle Mine, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security EMT to join our team. As a Security EMT, you will be responsible for providing emergency medical services and site entry control at all Eagle Mine locations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct site entry control and ensure the safety of employees and visitors.
  • Identify potential security risks and respond accordingly.
  • Perform regular patrols of the property to monitor security and safety.
  • Observe and report any equipment, ground, or facility issues.
  • Prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities.
  • Monitor surveillance cameras, fire notification systems, and other monitoring systems.
  • Coordinate with fire response units for fire suppression.
  • Provide emergency medical care, including EKG monitoring, defibrillation, oxygen administration, and other procedures as required.
  • Communicate with hospitals to provide emergency care and coordinate patient transfers.
  • Perform drug and alcohol testing as required.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Current State of Michigan EMT license required.
  • Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated effective usage of Microsoft applications.

  • Acknowledging personal responsibility for HSEC.
  • Identifying hazards, unsafe actions, and conditions that could result in damage to property, injury, or environmental impact.
  • Obeying instructions to protect personal health and safety and the health and safety of others.
  • Reporting situations where HSEC requirements are not being met.
  • Avoiding endangerment to others through any act or omission.
  • Using equipment safely and efficiently.
