Trusted Resource Associates (TRA) is seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist to join their team for a local contract position in Worcester, Massachusetts. As a Cath Lab Technologist, you will be responsible for providing technical and patient support, communicating with physicians, and operating equipment safely and correctly.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess procedure rooms for equipment functionality and readiness
  • Obtain supplies for individual cases and ensure the needs of the Cardiac Cath Laboratory team are met
  • Participate in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement activities
  • Communicate with physicians about patient conditions and assist during invasive and non-invasive procedures

Requirements:

  • Formal 2-year radiologic technology training in an AMA-approved school
  • Basic EKG course
  • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification
  • State license if required
  • American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications
