Job Description

The National Medical Association is seeking a full-time board eligible/certified vascular surgeon to join our team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality healthcare services in New Mexico.

Responsibilities
  1. Diagnose and treat complex vascular diseases and injuries, providing exceptional patient care and participating in resident training.
  2. Exercise independent professional judgment in diagnosing and treating patients, utilizing creativity to solve problems and meet the varying needs of patients.
  3. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care, referring patients to other providers when necessary and consulting with physicians and others to augment patient care.
  4. Utilize clinical privileges to order diagnostic tests, write prescriptions, and hospitalize patients as appropriate, ensuring a high level of quality patient care.

Paid Time Off: 50-55 days off per year (26 days of annual leave, 13 days of sick leave, 11 paid Federal holidays per year, possible 5 day paid absence for CME).

Licensure: 1 full and unrestricted license from any US State or territory.

CME: $1,000 per year reimbursement, 5 days of PTO allotted.

Malpractice: Free liability protection with tail coverage provided.

Contract: No Physician Employment Contract and no significant restriction on moonlighting.
