Under the guidance of the Store Manager, the Automotive Parts Sales Associate is tasked with engaging with both retail and wholesale customers in the automotive parts sector. Responsibilities:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Processes customer orders efficiently, both via phone and in-person, ensuring high accuracy in order fulfillment.

• Utilizes the Exploris computer system for invoicing and catalog inquiries related to automotive components.

• Diligently records all lost sales in the Exploris system to help improve future sales strategies.

• Aids in the management of Weblink electronic orders.

• Maintains comprehensive knowledge of automotive parts, including warranties, promotions, and sales initiatives.

• Adheres to company policies, guidelines, and procedures at all times.

• Assists in inventory stocking and ensures cleanliness of the store and surrounding areas.

Qualifications:

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
• High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.

• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in automotive parts sales is required.

• Strong communication skills and professional business etiquette are essential.

• Familiarity with aftermarket parts transactional systems is necessary.

• Dependability and punctuality are critical attributes.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Walking:
Frequent movement on foot, including navigating stairs.

Handling:
Engages with items using hands.

Lifting:
Capable of raising or lowering various automotive parts, tools, and batteries.

Extends arms and hands in various directions.
