Director Membership Sales & Events

Sparrows Point Country Club is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Director of Membership Sales & Events to join our team. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing programs and activities to increase and retain membership in the club.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve membership growth and retention goals
  • Manage membership sales and events, including club tours, membership applications, and follow-up with prospective members
  • Collaborate with department heads to ensure seamless communication and execution of member and resident activities
  • Maintain accurate records of membership and member files
  • Assess market needs and make recommendations for membership classifications
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager
Requirements:
  • 2-3 years of experience in membership sales or customer relations
  • College degree preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM applications (Salesforce)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly motivated, goal-driven, and self-starter
  • Polished interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with people easily and quickly
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Working Conditions:

Regularly required to sit for long periods of time using a monitor and keyboard; use hands to finer, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Requires the employee to stand, walk, stoop, kneel or crouch to pick things up or move displays around. Must be able to lift and/or move up to 30lbs occasionally. Noise level is moderate.
