Takeda Pharmaceutical Company Limited is a patient-focused company that inspires and empowers its employees to grow through life-changing work. We are proud to offer a stimulating career opportunity as a Plasma Donor Screener and Phlebotomist at our BioLife Plasma Services center in Mankato, MN.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of novel specialty pharmaceuticals and best in class patient support programs. Your responsibilities will include:
- Answering phones, greeting and focusing on our donors, while ensuring the safety of donors and our team
- Screening new and repeat donors and taking and recording donor vital signs and finger stick results
- Using our Donor Information System to prepare donor charts, maintain accurate records, and coordinate donor compensation
- Helping identify operational opportunities for continuous improvement and initiating changes to center processes using company-approved procedures
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- The ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and the ability to hear equipment from a distance
- Prolonged glove wear due to potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens (risk level 1)
