Position Overview

As a Senior Financial Planning & Analysis Specialist at ENGIE North America, you will play a pivotal role in financial evaluation, reporting, and budgeting for our growing renewables sector. You will work closely with various teams, including Asset Management, Operations, and Global Energy Management Services, to thoroughly understand the factors influencing operational profitability, risks, and liquidity. This role is essential in ensuring precise monthly and quarterly financial outcomes for management and partnership reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the creation of annual budgets, re-forecasts, and medium-term business plans, ensuring alignment with ENGIE and partner standards.
  • Prepare necessary documentation under the guidance of the VP of FP&A.
  • Ensure accurate and timely input of budget and MTP data into reporting systems.
  • Implement process enhancements to improve efficiency and control.
  • Manage monthly group reporting, including detailed analysis of P&L and Cash Flow Statement components.
  • Act as the FP&A expert in cross-functional projects, which may involve IT tools, strategic initiatives, or other collaborative efforts.
  • Assist the VP of FP&A with recurring and ad-hoc analyses.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • At least five years of experience in financial analysis, reporting, or accounting.
  • Familiarity with energy markets and accounting principles is advantageous.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in English.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and SAP solutions.
  • Project management capabilities with a focus on meeting deadlines accurately.
  • Ability to coordinate across organizations to ensure timely delivery of results.
  • Self-driven with a capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines.

  • This position follows a hybrid work model, requiring a minimum of three days in the office.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary Range: $74,500 - $104,265 USD annually. This range reflects the average expected pay for qualified candidates, with actual salaries varying based on factors such as geography, experience, and education.

In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for a competitive bonus and incentive plan.
