Requirements:

  • Current NP/PA license in Indiana
  • Valid CPR certification
  • Experience in adolescent and young adult healthcare is preferred

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the health and wellness program to support student success and retention
  • Consult with the Center Director and wellness team about health-related issues, medical separations, and health service programs
  • Provide direct medical care, including health assessments, diagnosis, treatment of illnesses and injuries, and health screenings
  • Administer immunizations and control communicable diseases per Job Corps guidelines
  • Maintain confidentiality and compliance with health record standards on federal and state levels
  • Train center staff on health procedures, infection control, CPR, and emergency response protocols
  • Engage in student meetings to assess and address health needs effectively
  • Oversee health protocols and manage health supplies for optimal service delivery
  • Participate in professional development to stay current with nursing practices and compliance standards
  • Assist the Center Physician with program oversight and collaborate with the Wellness Manager for coordinated health services
  • Perform additional tasks as necessary to foster a safe and supportive environment for students
