Role Summary

The Groundskeeper is responsible for the upkeep of the property’s exterior areas, ensuring a pleasant environment for residents and visitors. This role involves collaboration with various team members and external partners to achieve optimal property management goals, including financial performance and resident satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily inspections of the grounds to maintain cleanliness and safety.
  • Perform landscaping tasks such as planting, pruning, and weeding.
  • Assist in preparing units for market readiness by clearing debris from vacant apartments.
  • Support the maintenance team with seasonal tasks, including snow removal when necessary.
  • Utilize appropriate tools and equipment for grounds maintenance.
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficient in English, both written and verbal.
  • Valid Driver's License is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Equal Housing Opportunity (EHO) regulations.
  • Ability to operate a two-axle motor vehicle.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Experience with OSHA and environmental safety standards.
  • Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
