Position Overview: The Janitor is responsible for upholding the cleanliness and orderliness of YMCA facilities and grounds, under the supervision of the Facilities Director. This role is crucial in ensuring that safety and cleanliness standards are consistently maintained in accordance with YMCA policies.

Compensation and Benefits:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Adhere to the daily cleaning schedule

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in custodial services preferred
  • Familiarity with cleaning techniques and equipment
  • Strong work ethic and effective communication skills
Physical Requirements: The role involves climbing, bending, lifting up to 50 pounds, standing, and walking.
Work Environment: Primarily indoors, with occasional exposure to cleaning agents and outdoor conditions.

Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour
