Job Title: Respiratory Therapist

Cook Children's Health Care System is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team in Prosper, Texas.

Job Summary:

The Respiratory Therapist will provide high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional outcomes. This role requires a strong foundation in respiratory care, with a focus on patient-centered care and a commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver competent and skilled care to patients and families, prioritizing their identified needs.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, analyzing patient data to inform treatment decisions.
  • Administer respiratory therapies, including oxygen therapy, ventilation, and aerosol therapy.
  • Monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited two or four-year RT program.
  • Previous experience in respiratory care preferred.
  • Current license to practice in the State of Texas.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • PALS certification required within the first six months of employment.
