Job Title: Mammography Technologist

Sutter Health is seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team in Mountain View, California.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to perform routine and specialized breast procedures to produce high-quality images for physicians and other healthcare providers. The successful candidate will work independently, exercising sound judgment and developed clinical skills to execute safe and precise procedures to deliver accurate results in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:
  • Competently perform routine and specialized breast procedures to produce quality images.
  • Work independently, exercising sound judgment and developed clinical skills to execute safe and precise procedures.
  • Gain confidence and cooperation from patients, their families, and other healthcare providers through competent patient assessment, attentive monitoring, and effective communication.
  • Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures to ensure privacy and safety while delivering optimal patient care.
Requirements:
  • Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program.
  • CRT-Certified Radiologic Technologist Upon Hire.
  • RHM-Radiology Mammography Upon Hire.
  • BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider Upon Hire.
  • 2 years recent relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • General knowledge of diagnostic mammography principles, procedures, views, and equipment.
  • Capable of performing routine mammographic examinations.
  • Basic understanding of human anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
  • Written and verbal communications skills to explain sensitive information clearly and professionally to diverse audiences.
Work Environment:

This is a part-time position with a variable schedule, including rotating weekends.
