As a Master's Graduate in Behavioral Health, you will have the opportunity to work in our school-based programs, providing mental health services to students and families. This is an excellent chance to gain hands-on experience and develop your skills in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans for students and families
- Provide psychotherapy and diagnostic assessments to identify mental health needs
- Collaborate with school staff and community partners to ensure seamless delivery of services
- Document all interactions and progress in electronic health records
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in mental health
Requirements:
- Possess a Master's degree in a mental health-related field
- Minimum of six months previous experience in Mental Health as a Community-Based Therapist in CTSS or ARMHS
- Experience with psychotherapy and competence with performing diagnostic assessments
- Experience with Foster Providers, Adoption, and County Social Services
- Knowledge of family systems and their impact on mental health within the family
- Knowledge of varied interventions with children/families/individuals in crisis
- Proficient use of computers for communicating and documenting for clients and staff
- Strong skills in managing a flexible schedule and ability to appropriately manage referrals
- Ability to transport self between client homes/clinic and/or community-based locations
